Mini Vacation to Omaha

We took a mini-vacation to Omaha and it was great! We headed out Sunday morning and went straight to the Children's Museum. Me being the good mom that I am didn't bring my camera in! I really wish I would have because Wyatt had a blast. We were there for three hours and he played the whole time, not once did he stop. His favorite part was the supermarket where he could shop. He shopped there for almost an hour. Everything was miniature and he had the best time shopping, going through the check-out, putting it all away, and then starting all over again!
On Monday we headed to the Henry Dorley Zoo. We got there bright and early when it opened along with hundreds of our closest friends who didn't want to be grilled with 100+ temperatures. We were there for 3 1/2 hours and didn't see everything.We decided to head out and get some lunch. From there we headed back to Wamego because we were all tired and hot. We will have to make a trip back to see everything but I'm thinking in the Fall when the temps are a little cooler.
