Well there was much excitement around our house this morning as it was Wyatt's First Christmas! The majority of excitement was from me and wanting Wyatt to wake-up and open his presents. I can't stand for presents to be left unwrapped. As soon as he woke up he got fed and then it was time to open presents! Mike woke up and brought in the camcorder to record the whole thing. It was great! He loved eating the paper, ribbon, and bows almost as much as he liked his presents. Afterward, Mike and I made breakfast and just hung out with Wyatt while he played with his toys.
Yes, I got him a toy that he can whack stuff with and he loves it! Enough said. I'm sure I'll be wishing that I never got it later on when he breaks something with the hammer. Oh well!
Here's Wyatt playing with his "first" loud and obnoxious grandparent toy! My mom always said that when she had a grandchild she was going to buy the most loud and obnoxious toy there was and give it to her grandchild. I'm pretty sure this year she has succeeded. :)
