7-month Update

Wyatt turned 7 months old last Monday and I can't believe it! The time has flown but I can't wait for what is to come. Here are some things that Wyatt is doing now:
-He can clap. After watching Family Fued one night he decided that clapping was cool and now claps when he wakes up in the morning, when I change his diaper, or when he eats a bottle.
-He is eating 5 bottles now and they usually range between 7-8 oz. each. So he's moving up in the volume department.
-He is eating all fruits and vegetables. I've been doing one fruit and vegetable a night, so he is eating both instead of just one a night. So far his favorite fruit is pears and his favorite vegetable is carrots.
-He loves being on his tummy and does the constant swim while on it. He really flaps his arms and legs but unfortunately doesn't go anywhere. He will turn to get something while on his tummy rather than rolling to it like before.
-He can now sit up on his own! I don't trust him enough to just let him be sitting by himself with me not right by him because he likes to lean for things and then he'll fall.
-He has now decided that he doesn't need to nap more than twice a day and fights to take those. They usually last 1 1/2 hrs. but hopefully they will start to go a little longer once he gets back to daycare full-time.
-He likes to use his voice and scream at things. He will scream if he's happy, mad, or sad it doesn't really matter he will scream!
-He is still sleeping through the night and only occassionally needs his pacifier put back in. Asleep by 8pm and awake by 7:30am. I couldn't ask for anything more. :)

We don't have another doctor's appointment until February and then we'll find out his stats again. We've been fighting small colds but nothing serious and he's handled it like a trooper.
