15-Month Check-Up

Today was Wyatt's 15-month check up with Dr. Rose and everything went great!! Wyatt's stats are: 19.6lbs.=1% and 31.25in=58%. So he is still long and lean. Dr. Rose isn't worried and neither are we. He's just going to be like his Momma and Daddy. Neither one of us were big kids and up until middle school probably the shortest kids in our classes. So he's following in our footsteps. He also had to get 3 shots but took them like a champ and didn't put up too much of a fuss. Our next appointment isn't until November, so we'll see if we can't get some more weight on him.
On a developmental note, Wyatt is moving right along and surprises us everyday with something new he can do. He now says: Dada, dog, hi, yeah, and something that resembles kitty. We are working on saying "bye" instead of "hi" for when people are leaving. He also waves to everyone that leaves and gets into a car. He also likes to wave at cars as they drive by. He really likes reading book, too. In fact, most evenings he sits and reads his books. Wyatt also really likes to drive his dump truck around the house and load it up and then move the load to another place. It's getting really nice because if he wants to play with something he can bring it over to us and then we know what he wants to play with we can play with him then. :) I'm really liking that, as opposed to guessing what he might want to play with only to find out that's not what he wanted.
