Miss Me?

I know it's been a long time since my last post but as you can tell that means that school has started!! We have been through our first week of school and everyone has survived meaning; myself, Mike and Wyatt. There seems to be a trend starting and that is me not getting to Wamego to get Wyatt until after 5pm and then rushing home to try to whip something together while entertaining a screaming child and doing five million other tasks at the same time. Mike is home to help but between us we still have so much to do either inside the house or out.
We spent this weekend getting everything ready for our Labor Day trip to Melvern Lake. We spent plenty of  money and time at Wal-Mart getting final groceries and items bought. We then spent the remainder of the weekend digging out all of our camping stuff and making sure everything either works or is there. We unfortunately opened one of our Camping Totes to find mildew all over everything!! Gotta love a wet basement for storing things. So after a run through the dishwasher and washing machine everything is back to where is belongs and needs to be.
This week will be the final preparations for camping: packing, packing, and more packing!! Mike will be going to the lake on Friday to set everything up and then we'll follow the next morning.  So you probably won't be seeing any new posts from me this week but stay tuned for next week when we should have some great camping pics of Wyatt and everyone enjoying the boat!! :)
