Away goes the tree

Today was the day, put away the tree day! I was very happy but also sad to see it go. It such a mess to have the tree out and with all the ornaments and what not. But I'm also sad because I love the glow from the tree in the evenings. It was so warm and comforting to see it lit. I swear I could have a tree up year round. I don't even need anything on it besides lights. In fact, our tree had no ornaments on it until Mike decorated it one day. It sat for almost a week with nothing on it besides the lights. Here are some pictures of my boys getting the tree put back in it's box.

So happy that he got to sit on the box like a big kid!
