Snow Day and Momma's Birthday

Well this morning I woke up to the sound of my phone beeping because I got THE TEXT, NO SCHOOL DUE TO SNOW! Now, generally I'm not a fan of snow days because I always feel like I get behind and never get caught back up, especially when getting ready for State Assessments. Since I don't have school that meant Wyatt didn't have school. So we got to spend the whole day together.

Not a great picture but I think you get the point. It snowed, big time. We got about 6 inches of snow overnight and it was still snowing when we woke up.

Wyatt was very interested in the snow and me being the mean Momma that I am didn't let him venture out in it. I have reasons and I will tell you them in no particular order! 1. He is still currently taking medication for an ear infection that never went away. 2. He has no snow appropriate shoes or snow outfit. 3. It was really cold and I didn't want to go outside. (Okay, so the last one isn't the best but it was really cold!)

So after Wyatt and I enjoyed our day together at home, Mike got home and came bearing gifts for my birthday. He got me Just Dance 2 for the Wii. I played this game last year with my kids at school and it was so fun. Now I have it and can't wait to play it. :) Here are some very funny looking pictures of Wyatt and I playing Just Dance 2.
