This weekend Wyatt and I went back to Chanute for Artist Alley and we had a blast. I was super excited because he's finally big enough to start enjoying all of the fun things like: bouncy house, train rides, parades, and walking around shopping. Well probably not so much the last one but the others yes. We rolled into town Friday night and hit the sack. We woke up bright and early Saturday and headed downtown first thing.
We took Wyatt to the Masonic Temple for a free program to help make an identity kit for him if he is ever kidnapped or missing. They took his fingerprints, a picture, our info, and then made a video of Wyatt saying his name that we have. They even gave us a swab so we can rub it in his mouth and then put it in the freezer for a DNA sample. That went okay and he didn't really care for everything but did fine.
Then we headed downtown and we were the first ones in line for the bouncy house. He started jumping then decided he didn't want to so I climbed in with him. That didn't work either, he wanted out. I say let's go when he finally decides to jump. I think the extra kiddos that showed up to jump as well were an added bonus for him.
After the bouncy house we had to head to the Train Depot for our train ride. My mom and I went with Wyatt and we met Stacie, Abraham, her mom and dad, sister, niece, and nephew for the train ride. It was a blast and Wyatt loved it. I of course had to buy him a souvenir shirt to commemorate the experience and can't wait for him to wear it.

After the train ride we watched the parade and then headed to lunch followed by a much needed nap for the boys. Stacie and I headed back downtown for some child-free shopping time. We ran into some old friends and had a blast just walking around.
Today we had to head back home but before we did we had lunch with my mom, dad, and grandma. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and got some photo ops with Wyatt, Poppa Flash and Great Gram.
