And the answer was YES! He fell asleep without it just fine and didn't wake any more than he has been lately. He asked about it Monday morning and I told him that it went away because he's a big boy. He was apparently satisfied with that answer and hasn't asked about it since. :)

Paci-No More
Well we may not be starting potty training yet but we have gotten rid of the pacifier. I have been throwing them away as they've gotten yucky or broken and we finally threw away the last one. On Sunday I realized that Wyatt had bitten through his last pacifier and I tossed it in the trash. We usually have another one but this was the LAST one so there was no back up. All of these questions started swirling through my head: How was he going to act that night for bed? Is he going to wake up more than he already does and not go back to sleep? Will he sleep without his paci? Will I be able to sleep if he doesn't have a paci?
And the answer was YES! He fell asleep without it just fine and didn't wake any more than he has been lately. He asked about it Monday morning and I told him that it went away because he's a big boy. He was apparently satisfied with that answer and hasn't asked about it since. :)
