We spent all day Saturday with Gram and Wyatt had a blast! We headed to A&W for lunch and ate some delicious food. I hadn't ate A&W since I student taught in Iola in 2004. That's a long time for a great cheeseburger, onion rings, and cheese curds. After Wyatt's nap we headed back over to Gram's house and had a good time playing and talking. Wyatt loves going there because my grandma will cater to his ever whim. We have always said that my grandma is like a Jewish grandma because she's always pushing food on you even if you are eating. Well Wyatt was all too happy to oblige to the endless list of food she was going to get him and let him eat. He had puff corn, cheese, crackers, strawberries, scrambled eggs, applesauce, milk, salad, and a banana. This is just the stuff I can remember.
Gram was also an endless spout of entertainment. We put together a puzzle, played with the monkeys, colored, got out the view finders, petted the ceramic cat, looked through photo albums, called each other on the rotary phone, read the newspaper, and ran in circles around the kitchen.
