Final Home Game

Tonight was the final KSU home game and it was a doozy! We got tickets through my school and so you can never count on where you are going to sit. Most of the seats we've had had been good but this was by far the worst seats we've had because of this (see picture below)! We were sitting directly next to the Texas band. They literally played the E-N-T-I-R-E game! Aside from their hideous tacky band outfits they were so annoying. If they weren't playing their instruments then they were shaking cowbells and chanting. The band was so distracting that I couldn't even focus on the game for most of the first half. The only relief we had was during half-time when they couldn't play because KSU's band was playing. Of course  K-State won and we are now the Big 12 Champs!
We didn't stick around for the trophy ceremony, so we left with one minute left in the game. We were walking back to our car when this college kid came up and asked if he could walk with Mike and I because he didn't want to walk by himself and appear suspicious, since he was drunk! We said sure and he walked with us a ways. He then proceeded to say that he could be our son and was walking with us but he didn't really think we were that old. Thanks drunk college kid!
