Yes, we flavor medicine!

Well sick baby post #2! Last week Wyatt started doing some pretty bad coughing, those that have Facebook remember my posts about a coughing baby. Well after being almost a week of it and no avail in sight we finally took him to the doctor. Now I called the nurse line and talked to them first to see if they wanted me to bring him in because I didn't want to take him unless it was necessary because of all the crud that's going around. The nurse said to bring him on in and the only appointment left for the day was at 7:45pm!! Usually at that point Wyatt is snoozing away in his crib. See my dilemma! We go ahead and take the appointment and we see a new doctor that we haven't seen before, Dr. Duff. He was wonderful and listened to Wyatt who surprisingly enough was wide awake and all smiles for the doctor. He went ahead and prescribed Zithromax and we went to Walgreen's to fill it that night. We got home and got him ready for bed and gave him his first dose, 4ml of the liquid medicine, and he didn't like it!! So I've learned a few tricks from some other mommies and hopefully the rest of his medicine drinking will go down much better than last night. :)
