Crash and Burn

Well exactly one day after Wyatt begins walking he of course has a big accident. This accident occured none the less while he was crawling and not walking!! Wyatt and I were playing on the floor this morning when he went to go and get a toy in the foyer he took off and tripped over his own arm. He smacked his face onto the hardwood floor and there was blood. I picked him up thinking it's just a little bit, no big deal, it's happened before. Well we went to the bathroom and I got a cold washcloth to put on his gums when I looked and above his right front tooth his gum was all swollen and purple! I didn't panic and figured it was just bruised. I took a breath and then looked to see if his tooth was shoved back into his gum or about to fall out. Neither of those were the situation and it appeared okay. But of course I had to call someone to reassure me that it would be okay and he didn't require medical assitance. My mom was at work so I called my mother-in-law, Audry to ask her. She said the same thing and to just keep an eye on it if it gets worse. I then called Mike to tell him what happened. He immediately said to take him to the doctor but make sure if we have to go to the dentist that the doctor refers us because we don't have dental insurance on Wyatt! So then I told him that I would call the doctor's office and ask the nurse. I called the doctor's office and talked to the nurse and she said the same thing Mike's mom said. Then when I knew my mom was free I called her and asked her the same thing. I'm pretty sure I even called Lindsay to see what she said. Needless to say he is doing fine and his new tooth is still there!
