It's official, Wyatt has his second ear infection. He didn't get his first until we went camping over Labor Day and now his second has arrived two months later. I am really hoping this isn't a sign of future ear infections to come. I know as a child I had ear infections ALL THE TIME! So I'm hoping this is just because of the sudden drop in temperature and the cool air moving in. *Fingers crossed*
This started on Wednesday afternoon when Mike picked up Wyatt from daycare and he was running a slight temperature. I had Parent/Teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday so Mike was a single parent the past two nights and handled Wyatt beautifully. He was giving him Tylenol and snuggling him on the couch to make him feel better. Last night his temp soared to 104.0 and was on fire. So we went ahead and saw the doctor today just to make sure that if he was sick we could get some medicine before the weekend.
On another note, since Wyatt is feeling under the weather we pretty much have cancelled any Halloween plans. We didn't really have huge ones besides going downtown and hitting the local businesses. So now that is even cancelled. I just can't justify walking him around in a costume up and down Lincoln Street when he feels like crud. Maybe next Halloween will go better!
