House update

Mike and his dad were very busy on Saturday as they took out our bay window in the front and replaced it with a flat-front window. This bay window was an add-on before we bought the house and we really wished they hadn't put it on at all. For several months we have been listening to the cracks and creaks of the windows because they sound like they are going to fall off the front of our house.

As Mike and Joe started started taking off the bay windows it was clear that we had made the right choice to replace the window because it was entirely rotted out beneath. I'm really surprised that the windows hadn't fallen off of the house, it was that bad!

Inside view. Some sheetrock work to do but nothing major.
