Week Recap

Well this was another jam-packed week like usual but it seemed to only be compounded by the fact that Wyatt was getting sicker by the day. Wednesday and Thursday were Parent/Teacher Conferences for our school district which meant late nights and no seeing him before he went to bed. Of course on Wednesday I got a call from his school saying that I needed to pick him up because he was sick and had a fever. (Side note: Wyatt has been on Claritan since January and so far no ear infections since starting it.) So I left school with two hours left and picked him up and stayed with him until Mike's dad could come over and watch him until Mike got home. Once Joe came over I sped back to school for my 7 conferences.
Thursday morning came and I took Wyatt to Grandma Audry's for the day because I just didn't want to chance taking him to daycare and then getting a call later on and being stuck with what to do and how to do it in very little time. After a long day of conferences I headed home to Mike and Wyatt and found out that he wasn't getting much better. We thought it was his teeth because he has 3 more teeth breaking through, bringing our count up to 16 teeth, but since it is now the weekend and is still in a very crabby and uncooperative mood I'm going to say that he is officially sick. With what, I don't know but it's not just teeth.
My mom came over on Saturday and spent the night with us and saw Wyatt at his worst. He wouldn't eat anything, crabby, and super tired. Whatever is going on I hope he gets over it before Tuesday because Mike is heading out of town for the week!! Oi!!
Today we spent a majority, 4 hours, outside playing in the wonderful sun and the hurricane-like winds. The winds tamed down this afternoon and we headed to the backyard and got some yard work done. I started cleaning all the dried yucky leaves from around the house and raking the yard. Mike pulled up the garden from last year and burned some brush. Wyatt did great playing in the backyard with Powder running around like an idiot. He helped me scoop leaves and even swept off the slab for me when I was done. He also really enjoyed discovering Powder's dog run and house. In fact he spent more time in her house than she did. We didn't get everything done but we got a good start. Maybe if the weather is nice we can work on it some more later this week.
