We decided to get out of the house for a change and we headed to KC, today. We took Hwy 24 to avoid paying toll and had a nice car ride there and back.
Once we got there we went to Legends outlet mall and went to the Carter's outlet store. It was a blast!! There were tons of people and it was crammed pack but we found some great deals there and got Wyatt stocked up on clothes for the next couple months. We now have several pairs of pants and long-sleeved shirts to go along with the Fall weather that should be coming. (The goldenrod bloomed two weeks ago and it should frost within the next 30 days!) It was great that Mike was there because he got to see how crazy people can get at outlet stores, let alone in a children's clothing store!! We had this little boy come running up to our stroller and start to climb on it. Then his mom came running up and said it's because they have that same stroller. I don't think so!! We later saw her run 3 times from one end of the store to the other after this little boy. Trust me when I say that not everyone in that store had our stroller.
After that we went to Cabela's and Mike got stocked up on some duck and goose hunting supplies that he needed. Wyatt did a great job while in Cabela's loved to look around at everything. Everyone that walked by him had to stop and smile at him and comment on his orange camo shorts. We looked for some baby things at Cabela's but nothing was small enough. He will definately have some clothes for when he gets older. We really wanted to get him a camo coat for the winter but there weren't any small enough. We found a jacket but really wanted a heavy winter coat for him to use. So we'll keep looking and see what we can find.
Other than that we had a great day and Wyatt did a wonderful job today! He is definately a good traveling baby. This will be great as we get ready for high school football games we have coming up the next couple of months.
I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!! :)
Sounds like a wonderful day. Enjoy the shopping days with him because from my experience they are short lived.
