Development Update

It seems like everyday there is something new that Wyatt can do or say. He can say most of his colors, except for yellow (the double consonant gets him). He points at everything and generally knows its name, as long as its not too obscure. He is also putting sounds with animals. You wouldn't believe how many animals get a "roar" sound! Here's a few: bear, lion, tiger, and dinosaur. So needless to say he uses varying "roars" for each of them. The bear roar is distinctly different than the lion roar; less throaty sounding. Wyatt has also flown in his dressing skills. He can take off anything he is wearing but now he is also able to put on many things as well. He likes to put on his hat, jacket, and shoes the most. That's because it usually means we are going outside or bye-bye.
We are also working on making choices. I offer him two different choices for snack, drink, and picking out his shirt for the day. I'm trying to give him more ownership over his actions and hopefully he will start thinking about what it is he wants to choose and why.
