Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' birthday and in the Glotzbach household we celebrated not just one day but all week long! Wyatt's school did a multitude of different activities and coloring sheets that were Dr. Seuss related and of course at home his favorite series of books are Dr. Seuss. He has just gotten into the Cat in the Hat  but has always loved Hop on Pop, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and Go Dog Go.

Mike reading The Cat in the Hat to Wyatt. His favorite part is when the fish is telling the Cat to quit doing those naughty things. That's why his finger is up because he's telling the Cat "No, No, No!" .

He likes the part at the end when the mom comes home to the kids.

Here he is reading his adapted version of the Fish book. It has these really cool fish on top that he likes to count and move back and forth.

His favorite picture is the fish that has a little star on him.

Since Wyatt was on such a Seuss kick I decided to open up his Dr. Seuss matching game that he got for Christmas. He can match cards and thought this would be even better since it was Seuss! So we got busy punching out the cards.

Here he is helping me. He only punched out one whole card and I did the rest and that was the end of that. We didn't even actually get to play the game because he went onto bigger and better things.
