Toddler Bed

Last night was Wyatt's first night in his toddler bed and he did G-R-E-A-T! His crib converts into a toddler bed so the transition wasn't that big of one, which doesn't bother me at all. He watched Mike take down the crib side of his bed and attach the bed rails and thought that it looked like a great trampoline. He was jumping like crazy in his and was truly showing his excitement. He definitely liked being able to get in and out of his bed all by himself.
When I put him to bed last night we rocked just for a couple of minutes and then I went and laid him in his bed and he just looked around for a little bit at where the crib side had been. After a couple of minutes he rolled over and went to sleep and that's all we heard from him the whole night.
Then this morning I was awakened by the patter of little feet that were climbing the bed and telling Garfield to move so that he could climb up the side of the bed. Of course Garfield wasn't budging and Wyatt needed me to make him move and then he climbed up and snuggled with his Momma before heading down to get our breakfast of waffles and strawberries.
Here's hoping that the rest of the nights go just as well!! :)
