Tubes

Well today was THE DAY. Wyatt got his tubes today and so far, so good! We had to be at the Surgical Center at seven this morning and then he was scheduled to be in surgery at eight. Well once we got there and checked in we only waited a couple of minutes before we were called back to the waiting area. Once we got back there they took his blood pressure and temperature and made him change into a very lovely gown. Then came the waiting game. We waited and waited and waited. Finally we saw the anesthesiologist and then finally Dr. Pease. Once we saw them it wasn't long until it was finally his turn to go back. This is where I had to leave him. We couldn't go back with him and we wouldn't see him again until after the doctor saw us and he was awake from the gas. Well when we finished talking to the doctor we could hear a loud crying coming from the recovery room and we knew instantly it was Wyatt!! He definitely cried the entire time waking up from anesthesia. Then we got to go back and comfort him and get him ready to go home. He drank half a cup of water and ate a bowl of cereal before we left. Wyatt like his momma doesn't do well when we don't have food or water. After he got that in him he calmed down a little bit and we got to leave. He is doing great and he should be back to daycare tomorrow! Success!!
