Today we celebrated Mother's Day, a day early, and we headed to Topeka Zoo since the weather was beautiful! We had a great time and this year the zoo went much better than last year did. Wyatt was very into the animals and loved looking at every single one. Well every single one that was moving or making a sound. The animals that were too quiet or didn't move didn't really get his attention. He really loved the giraffes. In fact, we had to stop and observe them three different times in our trip to the zoo. He even had a meltdown when we left because we couldn't take the giraffes with us. So Wyatt's new favorite animal is now the giraffe!

This zoo trip was so successful that we purchased a zoo and aquarium family pass for any zoo and aquarium in the U.S.. We either get in free or at a 50% off admission rate. We also get discounts at the gift shop!! :) Score for momma!! Needless to say be expected to see a lot of zoo pics on the blog this summer.
