Sick of my posts about running yet?

Warning: I'm planning on posting something about each run to hold myself accountable for my running! Yeah!! :)

Today I started Week 4 of C25K and it was a doozy!

They really need to think about a 4 minute running period instead of jumping straight to 5 minutes from 3 minutes!

I completed the whole circuit and paused once during the first 5 minute run to walk a minute and then paused again during the final 5 minute run to walk a minute. I did pause for a minute to do some calf stretches after the half-way mark. I'm planning on foam rolling my calves tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully that will help with the cramping. I also didn't get my 60 ounces in before my run so I think this contributed as well. I just need to get into a good drinking habit at work, that's where I'm really lacking on my water consumption.

  1. Get it, Sara! You are doing great! I hope the foam rolling continues to help with the calf pain! Just push through best you can and whenever you sign up for that first 5K let me know - I'll run with ya!
