Okay now back to the running post...
Today is also a run day. I wasn't super excited to run today since 1) it was raining and 2) Day 1 of Week 2 went awful. The day kept going on and the rain eventually ceased and I knew I had to run. I was hesitant but not as much as I was on Tuesday. I figured it couldn't go any worse! Also this week I've been running in a different place than my regular trail and it made me very nervous. There's more people on this trail, like real runner people! I was afraid they would laugh at me (completely ridiculous I know).
So imagine my surprise when today actually went pretty well. Since it was so cruddy out for 90% of the day, there was me and four other people running. I could handle that. We kept passing each other and on my last lap a lady told me that I was doing great and to keep up the good work! My heart melted. It was so nice of her to acknowledge my novice skills and to give me some words of encouragement. I was on cloud 9 after that.
I can say that I'm actually looking forward to Day 3 and ready to kick some tail on my run!
